Tahzeeb Fatma is a Post Graduate in Arts and Aesthetics from School Arts and Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, where she was trained in Cinema Studies, Theatre and Performance Studies and Visual Studies. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Communication from AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia. She qualified the National Eligibility Test in 2011 and was awarded a Junior Research Fellowship by the UGC. She is currently pursuing a PhD from Centre for Culture, Media & Governance, Jamia Millia Islamia. Her research interests lie in the field of news studies, cultural studies and cinema studies. She has presented her research at many conferences and seminars. She is the nodal officer of Gender Champions Club at VIPS and a member of ICC(SH). She has been associated with VIPS since July 2012 and has taught various subjects during her tenure in the institution like: Development Communication, Film Appreciation, Basic of Camera, Light and Sound, Communication: Concepts and Processes, and New Media among others.
